SING for NEPAL fundraising exhibition

SING for NEPAL - is an arts initiative raising funds to help rebuild life after earthquake in Nepal, and to help those in need today. We are artists living and working in London organizing an exhibition in aid of crisis in Nepal.

Kira Zhigalina, Evgenia Emets and Analema Group come together to create a beautiful immersive exhibition. It is an invitation to reflect through an arts perspective on the processes taking place in the world. It is a call to meditate on the transience of human existence and the urgency of action.

Kira will present for the first time her interactive project ‘Symbiosis’ - an immersive, intimate experience, for two people at a time, that visualizes breathing into light, and her photo series ‘Drawings made by the Sea’ of ephemeral natural patterns.

Evgenia will present her graphic works and installations: from the series ‘Echo of Now’, images created for and during meditation, an installation ‘Tuning’, created through sounding, and new poetry drawings.

Analema Group will re-create KIMA – an installation and performance exploring relationships between music and vision, sound and colour. Participants will experience the artwork by using their own voice or a musical instrument and seeing sound as beautiful an ever-changing pattern. There are no spectators – everyone is a participant!

The campaign takes place online at Gofundme, and offline, on the 21st of May in London with a one-day only art exhibition: 'Sing for Nepal'. A series of performances by London based artists will take place at Coate Studios, London.

By selling artworks the artists aim to raise funds for their chosen charity; Shechen’s Monastery ‘Earthquake Fund’, which is helping people who come directly to the monastery by giving emergency aid and relief, and in the long-term will be rebuilding damaged buildings.
