A Slice of Time exhibition

Evgenia Emets has spent two weeks in an art residency at By Other Means, exploring notions of time through artists books, audience participation, performance and site-specific installation.

During this time she dissected an antique 19th century book and posted its chapters to audience to re-assemble it in the form of answers to her questions about Time. She dug into mainstream media narrative about Time slicing down two editions of Sunday Times to identify patterns of language dominating social discourse. She impress the abstracted word Time itself, encoding meaning into image through embossing and debossing techniques.
